We have exciting news! We just received our sample bolt, we assembled and test fired it and it ran right out of the box! See below for video and a picture of the bolt. Stay tuned…
We are very pleased to announce that we (Practical Solutions) have begun communications with the same company that Tom Wright aka Vegas SMG used to manufacture the CF-W Tungsten slow fire bolts. We have sent them drawings and we have obtained pricing to manufacture a run of Tungsten bolts nearly identical to the CF-W9mmA bolts. These are the shorter bolts that will work in the A1/.380 guns as well as the M11/NINE 9mm’s. It has been almost 2 years since the last run of bolts were made and the cost of tungsten has continued to climb. They will be no more than $950.00 each plus shipping and may be a little less depending upon the number of people committed to purchasing a bolt. We will need a minimum of 25 people to get a run started and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required. If you are interested please email Tina at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll put you on the list. If/when we get the minimum, we will contact you for payment of deposit and we’ll get the bolts started. We would anticipate the lead time to be 3-4 months until the bolts are ready for delivery.

We are now working on the 2nd Edition of our M10 .22 kit which was approved by ATF over 10 years ago. This is an improved design over our original kit with a couple of major changes. The first being this kit does not have the floating chamber “accelerator,” rather it has an extractor. The second is that this kit will be a DIY installation where as our first design required the lower receiver to be sent in to us for fitment. The kit will come with a dedicated upper receiver with barrel, bolt assembly, magazine well adapter and magazine.

Here’s a look at our latest prototype – The PS/31 Zmag Adapter. This is a practical solution we’ve come up with (thanks to Eric, our son, who’s recently move to Tennessee and come on board) that will allow the Lage Mfg. Max-31 upper receiver users to use Zmags in their Lage 31 series upper. Email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the wait list.
