The Next Big Thing For The Mac Style Family Of Registered Receiver Machine Guns

Yes, “the next big thing” is a bold statement. Here is a quick overview of what A & S Conversions, LLC (A&S) will be bringing to the NFA market  in the first quarter of 2019 for the M10 registered receiver Machine Gun.  Presenting the Tenko 10-16 adapter.
The adapter will:
-Allow the use of unmodified Ar-15/M16 barreled upper receivers and magazines to be fired full auto using an M10 registered  Machine Gun e.g. .22, 9mm, .45, .223/.556, 7.62×39 and 300 Blackout or virtually any other AR upper receiver by pushing the two AR take-down pins.
-An off the shelf Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) buffer does not require any modification to the M10 lower receiver and can be tuned for different AR caliber applications.
-The basic design already has a determination by the Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division of the NFA Branch, that the adapter is not a firearm nor does it break any other laws.
A & S Conversions is currently waiting for the FATD determination of the refined version so we can release the adapter for retail sales.
-We – Practical Solutions will be the exclusive retailer of the Tenko adapter series made by A&S Conversions . If you are interested in the Tenko adapter for the M10, there is a waiting list developing.  To be added to the list please email us at:  tina@macmachineguns.com
-A provisional patent has been filed with the U.S. Patent Office for the mechanism that this adapter uses.
-Below is a video of the adapter being used with a Powder Springs Mac 10 lower receiver. This receiver does not have reinforcement tabs. No appreciable wear developed in the front pin hole of the receiver or the Tenko adapter after 10,000 rounds of use.
As the release date gets closer, more details will be forthcoming. Please do not contact A&S Conversions for further details at this time.  But we will be happy to talk with you about this project.
Further, A&S Conversions is also working on a prototype for the M11/NINE RR Machine Gun which should be available by the third quarter of 2019 if not before.
We hope you are as excited as we are!

Fat Ghost Upper Receiver – M10 9mm or 45 acp.

Some of the customize-able options are below:

1.  Change the barrel threading to :  M10/45 – .578 x 28 tpi, Standard barrel, Standard barrel but made stubby (no barrel after threads).  M10/9 – Standard barrel, Standard barrel but made stubby (no barrel after threads).
2.  Your own barrel such as a 3-lug. Subtract $30.
4.  3″ side accessory rail. Add $55.
5.  Low profile (round/cylindrical) charging handle instead of the shark fin.  Same price.
6.  Leave off the flash hider.  Subtract $5.
The picture below is of the Fat Ghost Upper Receivers with each of the optional charging handles and showing the standard 9mm barrel or the stubby 9mm barrel (the flash hider has been left off of each).  The charging handle on the top Fat Ghost is the Low Profile Charging Handle, and the Charging Handle on the botttom Fat Ghost is the Shark Fin Charging Handle.

This picture shows the Fat Ghost with the Low Profile Charging Handle and the stubby 45 barrel threaded 5/8 x 24.

Production Baby Ghost Upper Receivers for the M11A1 .380 are now being produced

After months of waiting, we are pleased to announce that we are in the initial stages of producing and shipping the M11A1 – .380 SMG Baby Ghost Upper Receivers.  We are beginning to contact those on the wait list, so if you aren’t yet on the list, please email us ASAP at:  tina@macmachineguns.com .

Like it’s predecessor, The Grey Ghost, the Baby Ghost was designed by Mike McManus. This upper receiver is the perfect host for the Vegas SMG slow fire CF-W 9mmA Bolt .  It is completely made of steel with full length Picatinny Rail on top, an Ace Style grip out front, a flash hider with 9mm barrel threaded to 1/2 x 28 TPI, “shark fin” non-reciprocating charging handle, and built in gas deflector.  The cost of the “stock” Baby Ghost is $475.00 and is the top upper receiver in each of the pictures below.

Some of the customize-able options are below:

1.  Smaller (M11A1/380) size ejection port. Add $75.
2.  .380 barrel threaded 1/2 x 28.  Add $50
3.  Your own barrel such as a 3-lug. Subtract $30.
4.  3″ side accessory rail. Add $55.
5.  Low profile (round/cylindrical) charging handle instead of the shark fin.  Same price.
6.  Leave off the flash hider.  Subtract $5.

The picture below displays a couple of charging handle options available for the Baby Ghost.  The top upper receiver has the Shark Fin charging handle and the upper on the bottom has the Low Profile (Round/Cylindrical) charging handle.

The Baby Ghost Upper Receiver is created using an M11/9 size upper receiver.  Therefore it comes stock with the larger ejection port.  This picture below displays the Baby Ghost with either the large M11/9 size ejection port (Top Upper) or the optional smaller .380 size ejection port (Bottom Upper) which works well with the CF-W

9mmA bolts.

This picture below is of a customer’s Baby Ghost installed on hisM11A1 SMG.  Notice the folding stock.  It is an M11/9 Folding Stock that was custom ordered to fold to the left so that the longer length of pull (LOP) would not interfere with the gas deflector around the ejection port.  Yes, we can do this for you too, just ask us about it!

Under Barrel Rail Adapter for the M11/9 or M11A1 380

This is our under rail barrel adapter for the M11/9 or M11A1 380. Rather than using the MPA upper bolt holes, it clamps onto the barrel land making it compatible with most any upper. Also you do not have to take it off to remove your barrel. It sets the grip directly below the trunnion rather than behind it to allow further spacing between hands. Lastly, we’ve incorporated a blast shield above the grip. This is a brand new variant Sam designed this morning and will be available for purchase soon (hopefully this coming week). This will also be an option for the Grey Ghost Upper Receiver. It will be sold as a set – Ace vertical grip and adapter or as the adapter alone. Please let us know if you would like us to notify you when they are available.

Grey Ghost Upper Receiver for the M11/9 SMG

Introducing the production version of the Grey Ghost Upper Receiver for the M11/9 SMG designed by Mike McManus. This upper receiver is the perfect host for the Vegas SMG slow fire CF-W Bolt or stock bolt.  It is completely made of steel with full length Picatinny Rail on top, an Ace Style grip out front, a flash hider with barrel threaded to 1/2 x 28 TPI, “shark fin” non-reciprocating charging handle, and built in gas deflector.  There is currently a wait list for this upper and as of the time of this post, we are shipping the first 10 out to customers.  If you would like to be added to the wait list, please contact us at:  sales@macmachineguns.com

Here are some pictures of customer customizations:

This one has a round and more compact charging handle and a customer supplied 3-lug double threaded barrel:

This one has a 3″ piece of picatinny rail welded onto the ejection port side of the upper receiver to accommodate additional accessories.  (The tape is on the end of the barrel to protect the threads during shipping because the customer did not want the flash hider as he will be shooting suppressed):

These two pictures below show the Uzi Style Folding Stock tucking under the fore grip extension.  If you watch the video below you will see toward the end of the video the folding stock with the stock arm welded to the other side of the butt plate to accommodate long uppers.
Last but not least, here is a video showing the production upper as well as assembly instructions:

New – Free or $4.99 Flat Rate Shipping

We just hate paying high shipping fees.  Especially when we feel like it’s unreasonable.  For example, just a couple of days ago, we bought $14 worth of fittings for the drip irrigation we are putting into our high tunnel (Because in addition to being machine-gunners, we are also wanna-be farmers) and the shipping was $13.  So almost half of the order was for shipping!  Now these pieces might take up some space in a box, but they are plastic and so don’t weigh very much.  I’m sure that the actual shipping the company pays to send us our box will be less then what we were charged.

That’s it!  This was the straw that broke the camel’s back and we decided to change our own shipping pricing.

From now on, most of our items will qualify for free shipping via USPS First Class mail.  These items are the smaller items that will fit into a padded envelope.  We don’t want you to buy a $3.99 spring and pay $6.00 shipping – that’s crazy!

All other items – those that will mail in a box and will have some weight to them will be shipped with a $4.99 flat rate shipping charge via USPS Priority Mail.

If for any reason you would like your items that qualify for free shipping to ship via Priority Mail as opposed to First Class, we would be happy to accommodate your needs, but we will charge the $4.99 flat rate shipping fee and please call in your order because our website is not smart enough to make this change.

Our pricing structure on all firearm shipping has not changed.  We will continue to charge the actual shipping fees we pay the common carriers.

Thank you so much for your continued business!

Happy Shooting…
